If I was tall this mac come dress would be a dream, sadly it'd be more duvet if I did wear it.
Gone are the days when St. John was about knit suits and classic mature cuts, the knit is still present but in such a modern way. Creative director George Sharp has injected this collection, his first to show a NYFW, with youth but still kept that powerful business women impact.
The colours are fresh, with a lot of nudes, greys and burgundy. Silks are draped loosely over women's bodies, long skirts were frequent but never frumpy like a sequined floor skimming beauty teamed freshly with a plain grey jumper and brown leather gloves and belt to finish the look.
A stunner of a debut, St. John will hopefully continue to please for a long time.
