Carine Roitfeld

After 10 years at Vogue Paris, editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld up and left shocking many and leaving us wondering where she would be heading next. Rumours of her working with Tom Ford, heading to Harpers or even starting her own publication were buzzing around the fashion world, everyone just waiting for her to announce her next move.

Finally we have the answer; she has been hired by Barneys New York. According to WWD she will be serving as guest editor and stylist working closely with creative director Dennis Freedman and photographer Mario Sorrenti for the stores window displays and fall advertisements.

Roitfeld did inform WWD that she would love to work on a magazine again one day and suggested that she be happy to do a number of things as long as she could keep her freedom.
